Now in its 25th year, Lauridsen Ballet Centre’s Summer Intensive offers a training program in classical ballet with a comprehensive curriculum designed for the serious ballet student. We believe dancers must understand much more about their bodies, the history, and accompanying art forms than is possible to learn in the short times allotted for class during the school year. To support this belief, the Lauridsen Ballet Centre has formed its summer ballet camp program which:
1. enriches a dancer’s knowledge;
2. provides intensive training during the time of year when the student has the most time and energy, and;
3. facilitates the transition between one level of ballet training and the next.
For these reasons, students who plan to go beyond the most beginning stages of ballet are strongly encouraged to participate in the most challenging and rewarding part of our year. Contact us today to learn more!
